The Cyber Risk Management Group (CRMG) welcomes Neil Ackerley to the team as Principal Consultant. Neil will be working across multiple services from information risk management and risk assessments, to cyber security governance and CISO staff placements for CRMG’s client base.
Since starting his IT security career at the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), Neil has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge over the last 27 years, having worked for many global organisations such as Jaguar Land Rover, Unilever, Bank of America and Welsh Water. Neil’s skill-set combines hands-on-implementation, project and programme management through designing and commissioning complex technical infrastructures within both the U.K and the Middle East.
Neil has 15 years’ experience in risk-based roles, being exposed to many risk and compliance frameworks including OCTAVE, IRAM, ISO27002 and ISF Benchmark. Neil has a strong background delivering large ISO programmes and has headed up GDPR projects for large institutions such as JLR.
